  • Llano River Railroad Needs a Website Guru...Is It YOU?

This awesome non-profit organization has been doing a LOT of work to create a really cool railroad museum and experience to keep the history alive here in Llano and they're seeking donations and volunteers. In particular...they need help with their website. If you've got mad web skillz...this is a great way to volunteer...and you can do it from your own comfy couch...or recliner...or tree house...or whereEVER you work on your computer. :) Visit their website to contact them for more information.

  • Hill Country Humane Society is Over Max Capacity

Hi, y'all...this is T from Saturday mornings on The Hook and Hill Country Humane Society is beyond max capacity y'all! I know this not only from seeing their post, but from speaking to them and hearing about how they all have full kennels AND offices full of precious puppers with no place else to go. Can you help?.? If you can't adopt, fostering is another amazing way you can help these vulnerable animals.

A message from the Hill Country Humane Society:

    "BEYOND MAX CAPACITY

Since January 1st, we have taken in 162 animals. We currently have 137 dogs and 25 cats in our care. Our intakes have been incredibly high, and we are completely out of space. Every kennel, office, corner and available space is full, and we need fosters and adopters to help us make room for the continuous flow of animals coming in.

    We are open for walk-ins:

    Friday & Saturday: 11 AM - 6 PM
    Sunday: 11 AM - 5 PM

Even if you can only foster for a few days, it would make a huge difference and help us catch up. These pets deserve a safe and comfortable place—please come help!

Adopt, Foster, Share—Every action saves a life!
